Little Shaul Responds / New Video

A couple days ago I shared a video and transcript from Paul (Little Shaul) at the Zeus Mossbender channel that elicited quite the feedback...79 comments in fact!  He responds to quite a few of those comments here and then leads up to a succinct point about rapture and its recently debated connection to the timing of a certain harvest.

Here is the video: (13 Minutes)

  1. Why then wasn't Jesus Christ actually born at "Christmas" in December, slain on the cross, buried and risen in January and sending the Holy Spirit to the church in February when feast days and appointments are in fact so much obsolete to God? How was the situation in the temple when Jesus came the first time so that He had to call it a "den of thieves" Matthew 21:13? Was it not the same or worse as when Isaiah and Amos preached? Just thinking aloud... And then compare the passage from Galatians 4 to Romans 14:5-6 and Colossians 2:6 - now where is the word rightly divided here? Of course I know that the LORD may do as He pleases but Im just asking here as I don't own a YouTube channel and am only a poor woman... Blessings! :)

    1. Sorry it must be Colossians 2:16 above (which means that Paul didn't rebuke believers observing feast days at all but quite the contrary - but it's about heart and Motive, not about the ritual).

    2. I think the verses referenced above by Annabel are taken out of context in reference to what Paul/Zeus I'd talking about above. I am hearing him say that the festivals can not be used to pinpoint the rapture. Which many are doing. And, I see his emphasis needs to be on looking for Jesus to take us to Heaven in the rapture. Not in looking for a date that this will happen in using Festivals and all of these things.
I think the comments with regard to Christmas and all of that are an aside and don't have anything to do with what Paul/Zeus is saying. My thoughts are that the Apostle Paul is telling Jewish believers they are no longer under the law and the whole topic/scripture references that Annabel used are not referring to the rapture or the second coming.

    3. Honestly speaking I have not learned so much about the roots of my Christian faith in 12 years as I did when dealing with the Feast days of Lev23 in connection with Rev12-sign together with the YouTube watchmen during the last few months. I cannot and will not see what is wrong about what Paul declares in Romans 11:18 to be vital for the church from the Gentiles and not to overthrow the meaning of Feast days and Gods calendar in haughtiness because "we are not under law anymore".

    4. I don't think I am being haughty about not being under the law as you put in quotes. I think your emphasizing my words out of content I wrote them. I sense a stubbornness in your reply but that is okay. I think you are taking scripture verses to work your point of view but they are out of context. Romans 11:18 is referring to the new Gentile believers seeing themselves as better than the Jewish people because of their unbelief in Christ, whom they rejected. We are grafted in and are therefore spiritual offspring of Abraham because of their unbelief. This section of scripture does not have anything to do with the knowledge of Jewish history, the celebration of Jewish feasts. This scripture verses certainly doesn't refer to anything to do with the rapture and in looking to any Jewish feasts to help pinpoint a 'high watch' time for the harpazo to happen. The context of Romans 11:18 is pride the gentile believers had in feeling superior to the Jewish people because they had rejected Christ.

    5. I did read the referenced article. And, other materials from Got Questions, Bible Hub, I think and John MacArthur.
The Apostle Paul was fighting against freedom in Christ versus those Jewish believers who were saying to Gentile believers they needed to follow Jewish things to truly be born-again.
We are now under the law of Christ, (1 Corinthians 9:21, Romans 8:2-4).
Jewish holidays etc are shadows pointing to Christ (Colossians 2:16-17, Romans 14:5-6). Christ is the Passover lamb, so we celebrate Him at the Lord's supper.
There was also the issue of freedom in Christ, and a weaker believer and their conscience and the confusion this created.
Overall, I don't see anything that is discussing using the Jewish feasts etc., to point to a time of the rapture.
I think many scripture verses used by many on this site and on Unsealed are taken out of context, and that these verses apply to the Jewish believers during the tribulation but are being used to reference the rapture. Jack Kelley has written articles too on these issues that are worth reading.
I have always had confusion over the Christian community using the standard verses referencing the rapture until I read more on these go-to verses by John MacArthur and Jack Kelley. A 'Chuck and a Jonathan' wrote on the last article on Unsealed toward very end of comments that are worth taking a look at.

  2. I'm understanding this message a bit clearer than I did from the last video that prompted this one. But I still think the message goes too far and departs from what seems obvious in scripture.

I agree that we should not base the timing of the catching away on the feasts. If that is the core of this message great!

But God has historically demonstrated His feasts are his appointed times. Jesus did die at the exact moment required on Passover. He did ascend to his Father at First Fruits. The spirit did come at Pentecost. These are major events that took place on feast days. There are many more minor events that did. These help us to understand the ways of God. That does not mean that every event in the plan of God needs to take place on these appointed times - including the catching away.

But while trying to make this point, which I agree with, we do not need to also then insinuate that the Feasts themselves are irrelevant to the plan of God and that we should not, out of love and desire to be close to our Abba, celebrate His feasts. Not out of obedience to some law. The feasts will clearly play a part in the future as the bible indicates. So, God has not departed from his appointed times. Let us also not depart from them.

  3. I think what is bothering Zeus so much, and perhaps why this message is strong on his heart is that he is seeing so much focus on the feasts that most of us wouldn't even begin to know how to keep or would even be able to keep if we did know. According to some, we don't even know what month it really is. Yes, God will definitely use His appointed times perfectly as well as He keeps every other day perfectly which is why I hear Zeus just trying, in his Zeus way to tell us to keep our focus on the One who contains the feasts. And you are right, Zeus Mossbender about the Apostle Paul not connecting the rapture to barley anywhere that I can find. And by the way, Paul, you have been an awesome blessing to me. A pearl I found on this journey. You've made me laugh, cry and feel peaceful. Your love for Elohim infiltrates my own spirit. Thank you dear Brother for that. Hope you are strong on your feet again.

    1. Sheila B.,

“…the Apostle Paul not connecting the rapture to barley anywhere that I can find.” That’s true! Taking into consideration the barley harvest’s possible connection to the timing of the feast days is the real context of this matter, not the rapture itself. IF the rapture is connected to a particular (fall-) feast day, IF the timing of the feast days isn’t correct this year for any reason, (be the *barley* one of them IF Lord is holding that currently as standard and people aren’t wrong about it in their interpretation), this affects the timing of the rapture. There are big IF-s on my part. Personally, I’m not dogmatic about either possibility: according to my current knowledge, I don’t think that the rapture HAS TO happen on a particular feast day and/or it will happen on a particular feast day with 100% sureness. And the same way, I don’t think that the rapture HAS TO happen on a non-feast day and/or it will NOT happen on a particular feast day with 100% sureness. I’m simply just watching, waiting and seeking the Lord in these matters, waiting for the puzzle pieces He is handling us on this journey. (The CAPS aren’t me shouting, it’s only for emphasis. :-) Blessings, Sis!

    3. Totally agree Nora. The only thing I don't think is iffy is this fall time frame we are in. This site is almost like watching a panorama of the hearts of us who are longing for Him being prepared to meet Him face to face. We who are so fallible are being transformed daily with iron sharpening iron and the wonderful part is we can all walk this road together in complete agreement of where exactly it is we are going. So cool, Brad! Kind of reminds me of "Pilgrim's Progress" on a much larger scale. Blessings as well!

  4. I don't think he is saying to depart from the feasts. I believe what he is only saying is to not look to them for signs as to when the harpazo can happen and in essence date-setting. He is telling us that the rapture can happen at any time and to be looking up for Jesus to come. Not looking at festivals for signs of his coming.
I don't see anyone commenting that they are celebrating these feasts ... I see them as looking for signs of the rapture. We are not Jewish and as born-again believers we look to Jesus. Right now, we are in the age of Grace. At some point God will turn his attention to the Jewish nation and completing His promises to them.

    1. Even better is Daniel 11:35 because afterwards is just the time lap unto the endtimes tribulation Antichrist here until he rises in verse 36 (til the end of chapter). But thank you, yes "moed" is the same term here! Blessings :)

    2. Thank you Annabelle.

      According to Daniel 11:29-31
The ABOMINATION OF of DESOLATION happens near an APPOINTED TIME.

If the IRAN DEAL is the COVENANT WITH MANY ( six nations)
We are nearly 3.5 years from the beginning of the deal ( 2014 )

On OCTOBER 12th , MR. TRUMP is planning to decertify the Iran Deal.

      Thessalonians 2:1-4, says
That day (rapture) will not come unless the man of sin is revealed.

How do we know that the day mentioned here is the rapture?

Verse 1&2 says don't be troubled that the day of Christ HAD COME.

Here it speaks of a condition where people believed that Christ would have come secretly with no open evidence. Hence the day mentioned here is the rapture.

So Paul is telling believers to watch out for the ABOMINATION to happen. Once the abomination is revealed then the rapture will happen soon after that.

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
