An Apology to the Debunkers....

When I started this site just over 6 months ago I was unaware of how this Rev 12 saga would play out. All I knew was the Rev12 Sign was a big deal, people like myself were hungry for more information, and the amount of hungry people would certainly increase leading up to September 23rd.  All those things came true but the real reason I started this site was because I felt called to do it... I felt like I would have been disobeying God by not doing so.  Basically I felt this was a task God had placed before me to walk into. I had the necessary experience, connections and margin to do it...and after enough nudges I moved forward in relative obedience.... He took it from there.

My Plan

My original plan was much more simple than what this site ended up being.  I was planning to just share links to articles and videos that others wrote or produced. I reasoned that this would not take very much time once I had the site set up.  Grab a link, grab a image or two, type a small intro and then hit "publish".  It was never that simple though... especially when you make it a key point to put up new info DAILY.
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10
Even just 4 months from 9-23 there wasn't new information or videos being posted every single day.  Secondly, God was placing things on my heart to share as well.  So I would write my "personal thoughts" sometimes on certain slow days and early on I was eager to address various debunking articles that I felt misrepresented the facts.  I was initially shocked that prominent ministry's were coming out against the sign.  The evidence seemed so cut and dry to me and others.  Here is the Scripture, here is the sky, it matches.  I couldn't believe these people I respected were coming out against it.  For whatever reason, I personally felt called to straighten these debunkers out, not so much to change the mind of the author, but to give another voice to those who may be on the fence about the Rev12 Sign who were seeking the truth on this matter.

My Shortcomings

When typing those types of articles I really did have intentions of remaining in a loving tone.  Besides being called to act this way in the Bible I also knew that words said (or typed) in love have a much greater chance of reaching their intended audience.  The problem was I fell short in this regard quite often.  I sinned....and it's been weighing on me and I feel called to repent before you today.
Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Cor 16:14
While others may disagree with my self analysis here and think all I said was perfectly justified or even needed, I can feel in my heart that these contrite words are what I have needed to write for quite some time.  In writing those articles I knew what I should do (be 100% loving in my responses) and I was too rushed, or too proud, or too reactionary to do it.

A Strange Dynamic

Now I fully understand that I was just a nobody and the people I was addressing all had large followings, huge ministries, best selling books and extensive pedigrees in Evangelical circles.  I doubt they cared what I had to say (or the rest of us 'nobodies' for that matter), but I thought that someone needed to push back because many of us felt the information they were putting out there about the Rev12 Sign was verifiably false.  Making matters worse, it seemed like these generally good teachers had chosen to take this position without really examining the facts of the matter themselves in a fair and balanced way, something they often complain about when the shoe is on the other foot.
So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
James 4:17
It was a very strange dynamic seeing the PreTrib crowd divided so starkly.  The ground swell verses the establishment.  One side was calling the others astrologers and false prophets the other was calling them mockers and scoffers.  People were so sure of their positions either way and we all should have know better than to let it get so heated.  To some The Rev12 Sign was a Godsend, an undeniable indicator of the lateness of the hour.  To others it was nonsense, a distraction, an embarrassment.   It was quite the rift and as time passes the wounds on both sides are hopefully healing.  I now see this was all part of Gods plan to humble us all so that no man may boast about anything when He does in fact come.

I don't think anyone handled it perfectly on either side of the issue, certainly not me. My friend Frank even called me a few times to strongly encourage me not to address the debunkers anymore.  He thought I should stay out of the fray and should remain encouraging and uplifting. While I disagreed with Frank at the time (someone had to say something I thought) in the end I think he was more right than I was.  Another month passed and Frank's words echoed between my ears and I eventually stopped debunking the debunkers altogether.  It was all I could do to keep up with everything that was coming out and the arguments had been addressed previously anyway.   I am thankful God used Frank to remind me stay in my lane and let Him do the convicting if it was needed.  Be that as it may I feel called to apologize at this time for my tone and words in addressing those who were against the sign.

My Apologies

I feel called to repent, publically, for the non Christ like tone and words I used in some, if not all of my debunking response articles. I was not as gracious or as seasoned or as loving as a believer in Christ should have been in that situation.  In a realm of study that can be so fluid as End Times Bible Prophecy, I think it was misguided on my part to address my brothers and sisters in Christ with a tone that was anything less than humble.  Even if I was correct in pointing out the shortcomings of their arguments, my tone was not justified.  I am sorry about that.
Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.
Colossians 4:6
The worst example for sure was my late night response to JL Robb (Omega Letter).  Instead of prayerfully building off The Word for my responses to Mr Robb, I took the tone from his article and threw it back at him just like my flesh wanted me to do.  It was very hard for me to read just now.   I should have realized that Mr Robb was just doing what he felt was best for the Lord.  I should have remembered that he was not an enemy but a brother who for whatever reason could not see what I saw.  I was wrong in how I responded in that situation Mr Robb and for that I am sincerely sorry. Lord, I am sorry.

Many of us also went at Pastor Billy Crone at times.  He was one of the first to "open the floodgates" on the debunking tsunami after his appearance on Jan Markell's radio show.  Listening to what he said was excruciating... Many people were upset, but the harsh words that were sent in to them did not help at all.  His interview took place before I started this site and was perhaps part of the reason I felt the other side of the story had to get out there.  I had an email exchange with Markell and Crone afterwards that was quite civil expressing my concerns and they were completely caught off guard by the vitriol they received from others.  I wonder what would have happened if all of those people had written them in love and grace instead.  I am sure evidence of the fruits of the spirit in those words would have had a profound effect.  The negativity only made them despise The Rev12 Sign even more.   I am sure are there times on here I did not give those two the respect they deserve as servants of Christ who have been doing their work for years and years.  Jan and Billy, I am sorry.  Lord, I am sorry.
Remind them to be submissive to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to avoid quarreling, to be gentle, and to show perfect courtesy toward all people.
Titus 3:1-2
Joel Richardson, Dr Michael Heiser, Danny Faukner (Answers in Genesis), Jack Hibbs, Ron Matson, Amir, Jan and others.  I am sorry for not sharing my point of view in a more loving and gracious way.  I am sorry for don't disagreeing in a more humble manor.  Any words (written or spoken) that came across as a personal attack on you were wrong and sinful on my part.  I do not know how far or deep these words penetrated, but I do know God heard them and read them and knows what damage they caused to His name.  If my words brought sadness to Him in anyway I am very sorry.  My goal was to defend what I felt the Lord was doing, but I am sure there were many times I did this in a way that was more fleshly and prideful than spiritual and humble, I am sorry.  Lord, I am sorry.

Lastly I want to apologize for all the accusations of scoffing and mocking that were being thrown around.  I cannot claim to understand another's motives when mine are often so veiled myself, so who are we to fling such labels about?  Even if the labels were accurate, we should have taken the high ground and turned the other cheek (Matt 5:39).  God doesn't need our help labeling people as he knows the intentions of the heart and besides causes all things to work together for our good.

A New Respect

In the few months of doing this I have gained so much respect for those who have sustained ministries for years and years.  Through this process I have grown such a respect for people like Jan Markell who put out information in such a consistent way day after day, year after year.  The guys at Unsealed, Daniel Matson, or Greg Lauer, or all the YouTubers who keep putting up videos so consistently should be greatly admired.  It is not easy being consistent.  Writing books like Richardson, Heiser, Robb must take incredible dedication.  Making videos or writing articles takes much more time than most will ever realize or appreciate.   I am blown away by how consistent and steadfast many of our siblings in Christ are....even if it is their fulltime ministry.  I on the other hand feel like such a failure at times.  My resolve and dedication is anything but consistent, especially lately.  It seems like so long ago when I was willingly staying up throughout the night to type posts and create graphics about The sign... and now I often have a hard time just doing the most essential of duties such as my quiet times with the Lord and Bible reading.

My Weakness, His Strength

I feel so weak lately, but my weakness gives me hope.  I know God can use us better when we are weak because then His power can drive us.  He can then take over, steer us, and give us momentum forward.  I do not know what the immediate future holds for me.  I don't know what the immediate future holds for this site.  But I have faith that God loves me in spite of my many shortcomings.  He loved me even when I was unlovable long before I even realized my need for Him and accepted Him into my life just over 9 years ago (11-14-08).
My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
2 Corinthians 2:19
I know His grace abounds, but I still felt like I needed to say these words to you guys and to Him and to those who were on the receiving end of my defenses of the sign.  I am sorry for being less than loving.  I am sorry for treating my brothers and sisters in Christ like enemy's at times.  I am sorry for not taking more time before posting my thoughts, and for not prayerfully considering whether they were even necessary or helpful.  I am sorry for not following Christ's lead and letting all that I do be done in love.

Now What?

I fully admit I don't understand God's plan right now.  The sign was so real, but here we sit, still waiting.  I feel this contrition in my heart over the tone of some of my debunking articles, while at the same time still fully confident behind the points I was trying to make.  If you read those articles I am sure you are aware that I was not in some blind rage... flying off the handle with unfounded accusations or anything. I was usually responding to statements made against The Rev12 Sign and those of us who felt it was legit.  Reponses to arguments that I felt were contrary to the truth of God's Word and reality as I saw it.   And as the days go on those who came out against the sign look to all the world as the wise ones.  I still feel like we were on the right track, but I really don't care about who was right and who was wrong,  I just want to be home with Him.  I so wish we were on the floor of that throne room bathing in His Glory knowing that the end of evil was within sight.

But here we sit and I can't help but think of what all those curious onlookers are thinking now two months after the sign. I think of the agnostic man who shared how the Rev12 Sign was an example to the world that God was real.  To him this sign was something tangible and real...something he could see that helped him believe.  I wonder what he thinks now?  Did he need to see something major happen to believe?   I think of one of my closest friends who I shared the sign with to quite the skeptical response.  He seemed to be eagerly watching as the day came wondering if this Bible thing that had so touched his friend was real.  When nothing big happened in the days, weeks, and months following I am afraid his position against God was only hardened.  I wonder what he thinks now?  I am almost too afraid to ask.  I think of all those we shared with, I know we were careful with our words, guarded our expectations, but the hope was palatable... they were excited too.  I can't think of a time when more end times conversations were happening in homes around the world than on that weekend in September.    I wonder what all those people are thinking now?  I fall back on the fact that this too is all part of God's plan.

Things Hoped For...

I can't end this post without giving some hope.  God is helping me find it, even as I type this. Here are few praise reports directly related to the sign I have not shared before.

1. A co-worker friend of mine accepted Christ in the days leading up to 9-23.... the sign made him realize that time could be short and that he didn't want to reject God's free gift while there was time.  He thought the alignment was compelling and clear, and after months of thinking about the sign he responded with a prayer of faith when I asked him if he wanted to be saved.  It was a great day.

2. I think of all the friendships that have been made and the many wonderful comments I have read on these pages. Amazing connections from across the world.  People don't feel alone anymore because of fellowship on this site.  Believe it or not, a marriage even took place that was initially sparked on these pages! (Don't ask more, I am sworn to secrecy, but how awesome is that!?)  I pray God is happy with what I have tried to do for Him, as imperfect as it has been.  Confirmations like that are encouraging.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1
3.  Lastly, how many of us have such a deeper appreciation for God's Word, and His creation after this journey.  Seeing how intricately woven the heavenly bodies are with His Word has been so eye opening for me.  I will never look up at the sky the same way, and I am sure many of you feel the same.

Closing Thought

In the spirit of Thanksgiving just want to close by saying I am so thankful for God's grace.  I am so thankful to still be able to repent and receive forgiveness for my many faults. Sadly many will soon miss out on that option at some point in the future. I again ask Him and you for forgiveness in all the ways I fall short on this blog and sincerely thank you all for your prayers, love and much needed grace.

I love you all in Christ Jesus.

  5. I have given them the glory that You gave me, that they may be one as We are one— 23 I in them and You in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that You sent me and have loved them even as You have loved Me.

Is is beautiful to see Brethren walk in humility, forgiveness, and love for one another as we see the day approaching. It is beautiful to wash one another's feet. Time is short - and Jesus is coming soon. But exactly how soon, only God knows for sure.

Jesus said it Himself in Revelation 22 (three times). "I am coming soon"....

As for me I have enjoyed being more excited about the coming of Christ - so thank you for all that you had done to give thought to the signs that very well may be pointing to Christs soon return. Thank you! Jesus said Himself, "there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars". In my opinion we have seen those very signs that Jesus spoke about begin to unfold. John the Baptist doubted when he was in prison and sent to ask Jesus, "are you He that will come or should we look for another". His message and testimony had been true, but he expected a level of fulfillment that he had not seen. Yet he was a great prophet.

Jesus had to go to the cross first, but John did not understand that.

Even though we have not seen complete fulfillment of the signs, it does not mean that the signs were not God's signs. The signs come in God's time, and the fulfillment will come in God's time and not ours.

"If any man come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me."

    God is good!

  7. Praise report: I was stuck, a lukewarm Christian who had grown bored and could not find the faith to trust God fully with everything. For years I had been a Christian, saved when I was nine, called to ministry in my teens, actively going to church, but with a lot of sin in my life. A few weeks before Sep 23, I started telling God about my lack of faith and frustration. I didn't know anything about the upcoming sign or rather alignment. I was dim. On September 20, 2017, I pulled up YouTube in my browser. YouTube suggested a Robert breaker video about September 23. I had no idea who he was or what it was about, but felt I should watch it seeing that it was talking about something three days away.

I watched it and that was a major turning point in my walk. As I have previously noted, we are all motivated differently. This was it for me. I spent the next several days repenting of things that I had gotten used to that were not pleasing to God. I called family and friends and explained in simple terms that Rev 12:1-2 described the alignment that was happening on Sep 23, 2017. I suggested to them that I couldn't be sure it meant rapture, but that since it was described it must mean "prepare your hearts" at the very least.

So to this very day I walk closely with the Lord. The old has passed, the new has come. That is how I'll remain until He comes for me. He will be well-pleased with me and I will not be ashamed. My friends and family have been goaded to a more sincere faith too.

    3. Miguel that's beautiful to see that God used it to draw you closer. I have been waiting on the Lord. Well five years ago I was reading the word and came across the verse where John the Baptist asks ..."are you the one or should we wait for another "and that's when I was convicted that the Lord was coming soon. God uses many instances and circumstances to draw us closer. We each have our Turning Point. Yes, our God is faithful to his children

    4. Miguel-

That's a beautiful testimony. Thank you for sharing it.

Funny thing, God used that exact same video to teach me about the sign, about a month before. I had no idea what it was all about before seeing it. It woke me up in pretty much the exact same set of circumstances you described. I have been watching & waiting for about 30 years. I had slowly become drowsy & nodded off, but our Loving Father gently nudged me awake with that sign. And He kept me awake by way of helps like this site and Unsealed, and others.

I have no doubt that it is the sign telling us of our soon offramp up ahead.

Blessings to all! He's coming for us very soon.

    5. Miguel, I stand with all the above said and TY for your testimony; such as mksmiths and other reports of AWAKENING result of Rev12-sign! Be blessed abundantly!!

But @Brad beloved brother let me please ask this question then: If God could use Rev12-sign to awaken the church siblings so vehemently as they described it and even use this website discussing His things in the Malachi 3:16 way to INDUCE A MARRIAGE even on earth (now how great can this message be??! Congratulations, MAZAL TOV = GOOD SIGN!!), how comes that obviously NONE of the "debunkers" felt this kind of awakening - even not until today as the discoveries go on?? Did anyone of them feel to repent and acknowledge his or he's failure in attempting to please God by doing what they've done in the past i.e. debunking the great sign in the Heavens? Do you really feel to address TRUE brethren with them? Well I don't. And I don't care about their 'life-long' ministry, their career or their reputation in the world and how many books they have published. Because God Himself is NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS. In the end all that counts is to BOW YOUR KNEE before God and all that GLORIFIES Him. Thus, if Rev12-sign was/is a serious sign of Gods glorification, how can ANYONE from the church (!) debunk it and not rather be awakened by it and come to LOVE IT?? No Dear, I think it was EXACTLY was makes the difference between a good servant like you Brad described in Matthew 24:45-47 and the description of a mocker and debunker in the church (as such persons claim to serve Jesus so they are counted to the flock but not as true sheep) in Matthew 24:48-51 . BTW from this alone we learn that Matth24 adresses the church as we all should seriously watch Alan Horvath latest video on this!!

So NO I DON'T FEEL YOUR APOLOGIES TO DEBUNKERS AT ALL and I stand firm to what God says about them in His word. I will not respect the person who doesn't respect God who has Himself revealed by such a marvellous awakening of His coming to us around 9/23/2017. And I stand firm to always speak to a fool likewise and according to Proverbs 26:4-5 there's no reason to apologize in front of a fool who doesn't care about the greatest announcement of Jesus Christ ever prior to His return but who then mocks those who do. Blessings to you, dear brother (as YOU are my true brother but I do NOT recognize the debunkers as such)! Much love YSIC

I pray now for all and wait for the Lors's leading! He brought me here, truly, and turned me in the last months to the Rapture as real thing! He turned me in the last 10 years several times, I know how He makes that! I learned much from you all here, and Brad especially! Thank you, Brad, you are working very hard befor the Lord, and crown awaits you! Amen! And all this story teaches me to this: What's important is not what I think or read or understand, but what the Lord says, shows and does! Rev 2:1 1Ki12:24

  9. Way to set the example brother, if you feel like repentance is in order, then it's best to do it! Shows much maturity in the Lord. I felt the same way a few times in responses to some of these teachers, and even though I still feel that some of them were out of line, I learned that not everyone in the body will agree and arguing is not the way. I still feel like 9-23 was important, I personally had so many confirmations on certain aspects of it, that I cannot dismiss it. The Lord is no doubt teaching us all what we need to know to learn and grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ thru all these latest "signs". From the biggest ministries, no name believers, none of us are righteous and we all miss the mark. None of us know exactly when He is coming, but we all can pretty much agree its soon! Lets keep our heads up, pray for each other and those still in the dark, watching and waiting for the appearing of our great God and Savior!

    MUCH LOVE

    MARANATHA!

    1. You are right on. I have learned that we cannot rely on what teachers say 100% because they are human too. We are all prone to mistakes, especially when we have thought about something a certain way for years and years. It is hard to evaluate new info that may change our settled thoughts. I think we are all responsible to go to God directly and ask for Truth no matter who the info comes from. I can promise you, any good teacher always welcomes independent verification and shouldn't expect everyone to believe what they say just because "they said so". We are all accountable for what we believe.... especially when we have so many resources at our disposal now and an ever present "Helper" willing to lead us to all truth.

    2. Brad, yes sir. These few passages of Scripture here is what I always try to go by. I try to seek God with all my heart. I listen to fellow Christians and learn, but always go back to the Bible to verify, and of course most importantly try to let the Holy Spirit work, and not my sinful flesh.

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

  11. Perhaps this would be a good time to thoughtfully and objectively review what some of the "debunkers" have to say, so any mistakes that were made in the recent past will not be repeated. And so worse mistakes will not be made in the future. Proverbs 18:13; Proverbs 18:17; Proverbs 27:17. A good place to start, I think, is Dr. Faulkner's recent "Reflections on September 23, 2017" article:

    https://answersingenesis.org/astronomy/stars/reflections-september-23-2017/

In that article he talks about:

    (a) how tenuous the arguments for a Feast of Trumpets Rapture actually are;

    (b) the extra-Biblical practice of assigning prophetic significance to numbers such as the Hebrew year 5777 (5=grace + 777=completion), or 5778 (=surface temperature of the sun in degrees Kelvin);

    (c) unsubstantiated claims regarding Jonah, Nineveh, and solar eclipses;

    (d) disagreements regarding the length of a "generation";

    (e) how the theme of this year’s International Day of Peace was actually NOT "Peace and Safety";

    (f) how folks with a pet theory often neglect to fact-check claims that support it, and how "gullible people find it very easy to believe things that aren’t true to support other things they believe are true." Personally, I've aways liked the way Paul Simon put that last thought, so memorably, in his song, "The Boxer": "A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards the rest." Which is unfortunately true, but nothing like Matthew 10:16.

Dr. Faulkner then describes four ways that failed predictions are glossed over, and concludes with some additional, very interesting, observations including this one:

"Christians need to be far more discerning than this."

Brother Brad: A subtitle near the end your post above asks, "Now what?" Allow me to make a suggestion. Allow this blog to morph into a place where Christians can learn how to be "far more discerning" than they have been in the past; make this a place where the watchers are watching, not just for signs of Jesus' return, but for the health and happiness of the sheep, as well, Hebrews 13:17.

And what would that mean, practically speaking? It would mean that each article you post would be accompanied by a critical analysis, reinforcing the good and rejecting the bad (with good reason). If that's too much for you to muster, then simply begin with an article or two along the lines of "How to Tell a Convergence from a Coincidence" and "Providence or Accidents? How Can We Tell?" so your readers can then apply the guidelines they find therein to future postings. Feed your sheep with butter and honey so they will know how to refuse the evil, and choose the good, Isaiah 7:15 KJV And for God's sake keep in mind that the wisdom from above is FIRST pure, THEN peaceable, gentle, etc, James 3:17

  12. Beautifully done, Brad. We have all been there. As for those such as Crone and Amir and the Markell camp, they have their ministry and what the Lord has called (hopefully) them to do. For them to deny the heavenly sign outright and say they don’t believe in it without even bothering to research it is a testimony to them. I respect their work but to blatantly deny it’s existence is another matter entirely. All any of us are trying to do is rightfully discern the Word, including the more “popular” ministries. To completely dismiss the sign is, in my humble opinion, prideful.
At least look into it and form an objective opinion, which they did not do. It was real, it happened and all they had to do was look up.
I still respect them but I am more cautious towards them.
None of us have been perfect about handling all of the signs and our behavior about them and we all need to repent for it.
Our only desire is to seek His face and make people aware of what is happening.
    God Bless You, Brad!!

    1. Robert.... I tend to agree with you. Their lack of study was obvious and disappointing... but they are busy and I am sure they relied on others without digging deep so the problem compounded. I love your statement.... "I still respect them but I am more cautious towards them." That sums it up nicely... I have caution now when before perhaps I would have believed everything they said without much question.

I think about this often.... this dynamic between the teachers and us nobodies and the division this Sign caused. God used that for many reasons.... that would be a good post at some point.

  13. As my dear brother Brad felt to apologize before some Dr. Danny Faulkner (among others) and as his latest Rev12-sign review article was mentioned above now feel free to read what this guy writes about "promoters of the September 23, 2017 NONSENSE" (!!) after a month later and how disrespectful he deals with all the findings around Rev12-sign. Now please anybody tell me HOW this person can be my brother in Christ? 'Cuz he ISN'T. How may I ever even quote from what he's saying nor listen to him furtheron? Well again, I WON'T.

    2. Stay firm, my dearest brother! Anyone who calls on the very HOLY things of God as "NONSENSE" (to which His ecclesia people belong as well as the stars in Heaven!) isn't even worth to be taken his name into my mouth. What such a person does to the brethren (in the name of Jesus even!) he does it unto Christ Matthew 25:40 Let him be anathema, MARANATHA! 1 Corinthians 16:22

    3. Annabel, here's the beauty of it for me. I watched some of these folks for years, bought their books, donated, etc., but when they came out so strongly against the "nobody" upstarts in denial of the Sign, they only strengthened it's validity and actually did hurt their own credibility regardless of where we are at right now. For years, they staunchly promoted the immenincy of His return at any moment and then when the Lord revealed to us all an actual signpost, they started backing up. That told me to look away from them and find fellowship with those who would be looking up for however long He requires us to. And you are one I do love looking up with because you have
a sharp eye, a wide field of vision and a fierce love for Elohim. I have to figure out how to clean my own closet out this week as I sit around a holiday table with lots of family members who will be thinking "poor little thing, how disappointed and embarrassed she must be." Nope, not at all! But I've got to find a way to take that rebuke, and w/o apologizing for my stance on all we now know and see, and somehow please the Lord. Tricky business not to slice an ear off that He'll just have to put back on. I love you lots, Sister and so much appreciate all that you have contributed to this high watch and even higher WAIT time! Only 2 months that has felt like an eternity.
So strange...in the past, 2 months has always been a flash in the pan, gone by so fast I'd forget to turn the calendar page. Now every day has a notation on it as I prayerfully turn the page and hopefully will not have to turn another.

      Be richly blessed and Maranatha!

few times, I regularly have lurked on here practically every day. All I will say to all this is:

Well said Annabel!! I couldn’t agree with you more!! All your points in your original post are gold!!

These “debunkers” didn’t do their homework when “debunking” the Revelation 12:1 Sign. They deserve NO apology!

Furthermore, apologizing to all these “debunkers” is basically spitting in the face of those who have done exhaustive research on this sign and its implications, and who have beyond a shadow of a doubt proven the total, complete, absolute, and utter irrefutability of Revelation 12:1.

These researchers received no glory for what they have done, rather have received scorn and ridicule. They have done a great service to the Body of Christ and that should be acknowledged, not ignored or disregarded.

I am curious as to how the “debunkers” are going to justify to the GOD of the Multiverses,
their attempts here on Earth to invalidate Biblically Prophetic Scripture to the Body of CHRIST.

    7. Hi ClassicRickChick.
You should post here more. I know how aggravating and insulting (and even smug) some of the debunkers were and are, but one thing I heard over and over from a lot of the watchmen was that those attacks were just confirmation of their being on the right track, so whether these naysayers realize it or not, they were (and are) playing their part just as the Lord said they would. Knowing that took alot out of the heat I was feeling toward them. I even felt a bit sorry for some of them who
in all of their own wisdom and teachings did not recognize they were guilty of the very thing they'd all warned about for so long. I was as surprised and as taken aback as anyone at some of these folks attitudes. But the watchmen who worked so hard to point us to His Glory being declared to the world, I am sure they would rather receive their crowns from Yeshua anyway. The best victory imho is to dig our spurs in deeper and keep looking up and pointing out anything and everything He will
let us see. It's only gonna get better and closer and with the help of each other, we'll all be wide awake. Many Blessings, Sister!

    8. Hi ClassicRockChick,
I agree wholeheartedly with Sheila and would ad this.... While this was an apology to the Debunkers, I tried to be very specific for what I felt I did wrong (not being 100% loving and gracious in responses to their articles which many felt were aggravating and insulting). I cannot apologize for believing the sign was real. I cannot agree with them that it was nonsense. So while I think I understand why you think this could be considered a slap in the face to all the watchmen, this was more of a personal confession for how I personally engaged in this "conversation/battle" or the course of the sign. I hope that is clear. I am eternally grateful for all the watchmen who made this sign know, and even more grateful to God who put it in place for us to recognize.

    1. I heard once, not sure from whom, that repent would be the sweetest word someone in Hell could ever hope to hear... yet it will not come. But on earth, repent is so often the LAST word anyone wants to hear. The command, the offer, the ability to repent is an amazing gift we must all use more often. Those in Hell would give anything to hear that word and be able to respond.

  15. Matthew 22:37-40New King James Version (NKJV)
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor(G4139) as yourself.’ 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

I edited this information from BlueLetterBible.org so it is a little more concise

Strong's Number G4139 (neighbor) matches the Greek πλησίον (plēsion)
    STRONGS NT 4139: πλησίον
πλησίον (neuter of the adjective πλησίος, πλησια, πλησίον),
    1. a neighbor; i. e.
    2. a friend: Matthew 5:43.
    3. any other person, and where two are concerned the other (thy fellow-man, thy neighbor) i. e., according to the O. T. and Jewish conception, a member of the Hebrew race and commonwealth: Acts 7:27; and Rec. in Hebrews 8:11; according to the teaching of Christ, any other man irrespective of race or religion with whom we live or whom we chance to meet (which idea is clearly brought out in the parable Luke 10:25-37): Matthew 19:19; Matthew 22:39; Mark 12:31, 33; Luke 10:27; Romans 13:9, 10; (Romans 15:2); Galatians 5:14; Ephesians 4:25; James 2:8 and L T Tr WH in James 4:12; πλησίον εἶναι τίνος, to be near one (one's neighbor), i. e. in a passive sense, worthy to be regarded as a friend and companion, Luke 10:29; actively, to perform the offices of a friend and companion, Luke 10:36;

The greatest gift God has given us is LOVE and it is also the most important and greatest commandment. And "neighbor" is not just Chrisitans, it is everybody which is what makes the great commission so important. We are to share God's love with the world wether we agree with everyone else or not. Jesus said "If you love Me, keep My commandments" (John 14:15). We are all in this together, all part of the same Body, all saved and forgiven by the same Blood. We were all walking in darkness before we came to the Light. Let's not let anyone be left behind.

  16. Brad,
I love you brother and appreciate your humility, repentance and appology. When the LORD brought us together to become friends I would never have expected things to turn out how they have but of course everything God does is always awesome. I am not perfect and I know my delivery was not perfect at times, but I can't express to you how hard it was to share what I felt the Holy Spirit calling me to do. For those of you who don't believe the Holy Spirit speaks through impressions or anything else you can ignore what I have to say and thats fine. God bless you. But I had prayed about how to help Brad and what my role in our friendship was and the answer I had believed to have received was to point out the error of fighting and causing divison with other bretheren. Maybe some of you know how it feels, but to have a newly formed God-led friendship with someone and then to have to wrestle with the literal gut wrentching promptings of the Holy Spirit to tell a new friend they are doing something wrong when that person feels they are right and favor seems to be on their side is very uncomfortable to say the least. To be the friend to "upset the apple cart" is not an enviable task, but I had to obey the LORD as I felt called just as Brad did. I am not always sure I "hear" that still small voice clearly, but I felt it was what the LORD called me to do and I kept from you (Brad) that I also believed the LORD told me He would chasten how He would choose to chasten. After having gone through some pretty excruciating but glorious chastening in the beginning of this year, I was not excited to have Brad experience that pain, but at the same time coming through the refining fire of the LORD brings you to a deeper intimacy and love with the LORD that has had me asking for more daily. It is truly amazing. But the 4 or 5 months ago or whatever it was where this took place, I held my peace knowing that the day would come that the LORD would finish the work He gave me a part in in your life Brad. I am amazed and humbled by HIM. And do not think that because I stopped commenting, or because our calls decreased or because there was what appeared to be a setback in our friendship, that I ever for one second stopped praying for you or your family or for you to fulfill God's purpose for you. I have shed tears, fasted and prayed over you and our friendship as if I had kown you my whole life and I always will. Glory to God! I am happy, blessed and relieved to see your transformation happening and I pray that you and everyone who has become a part of this ecclesia will grow closer to the LORD from it. I am very proud of you my brother and my friend and I love you. I thank God for our friendship because truly if it was not by His doing, you would have completetly dismissed any of what I said to you. I have my shortcomings and I am far from a perfect finished work, but I love to be able to grow together as brothers and sisters, children in Christ. I know the LORD has great plans for you my friend! God bless you!

  17. Hebrews 12:1-8 NKJV
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:
“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord,
    Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him;
6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens,
And scourges every son whom He receives.”
7 If[b] you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? 8 But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. 9 Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the Father of spirits and live? 10 For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but He for our profit, that we may be partakers of His holiness. 11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

  20. Brad – thanks for starting this site 6 months ago. Appreciate your efforts and the wonderful messages you share here. I got into the hype about a month after you started this, watching all the videos and reading as many blogs as I could. Some pro Rev12 sites were off the rails (anything Nibiru), but this site has been consistently delivered in a loving tone.

The evidence was cut and dry - the scripture matched the sky. But, only for the two verses. We all made the error of jumping verses to the rapture and applying it to the first two verses. Had we looked at 9/23 as a step before the dragon which would bring us closer to the Rapture, some of these harsh words we all shared back and forth may not have occurred. I know that I was frustrated when I woke up on 9/24 and then 9/25. I then started paying closer attention to some of the debunkers and used unkind words here. For that, and the hateful words I didn’t share, I am sorry.

    1. Thank you for sharing. Like you, I can't unsee what I saw. The evidence was overwhelming for the sign of verses 1 and 2. The evidence is overwhelming for a Rev 12:5 rapture as well. The evidence is still mystifying (to this point) regarding what is in-between those two. I hope we shall soon find out and then be able to present a complete message that will be even harder to deny (while there is still time).

    2. Brad , thank U for this site. I would not want to "un see what I saw" as u said above. Even though the rapture has not happened yet, WE KNOW now September 23 . , was God saying I'm getting ready to send Jesus to collect his bride- so here is your heads up, I'm trying to forewarn my people , as he always does they just have to be willing to listen . Sadly, many Christians are so comfortably in this world they don't want Jesus to come and take us home. I've been one of those weird, tin foil hat wearing persons for many years and no plans to stop - till he takes us home. 26. My hope is on March 21 2018. The beginning of the spring (first FULL day after the spring equinox on March 20). The transition day: last and first day. ...of the summer to begin. It also has something to do with the number 4 (number of seasons). Read the story about Lazarus' resurrection in John 11. "(((17 So when Yeshua came, he found that he had been in the tomb four days already.)))". It's September 23rd YEAR-MIRRORED! What September 23rd is for the fall, is March 21rd for the spring (nl. the first full day of the season). Jesus' ascension was 10 days before the 50th day (Pentecost), and so the Day of the Lord hopefully-could take place 10 days before Passover! (HINT: 50 days after Passover, you'll have Pentecost = Gr. 'pentecoste' = "50th (day)".) Consider it. Also: look at the numbers of the scripture you put at the bottom of your page: Philippians ---(((3:20-21)))---

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

Also: it's ---(((100 days/144,000 minutes/2400 hours)))--- from 9/23 until 31/12/12 ( include the end date, click this link for that.
That's peculiar in itself. But wait, there is more: you have exactly that time period for the 1st day of Chanukah until the 3/21 2018! (again with the including of end date!). I stop now. You could take it from here ;-)

  27. Thanks for this! It seems the really Christian thing to do. I started to write fighting comments a few times over this subject, but the Lord showed me I should delete them. You feel a bit justified when you think you are sticking up for the others who believe like you do. But I have just read so many verses in the last couple days that say we should forgive, we shouldn’t argue, and that we will be rewarded if we suffer because of doing right. It is surprising, though, when you find you are suffering at the hands of other believers. I don’t think the Rev 12 sign or beliefs about prophecy are a requirement for salvation, so I myself have no problem thinking they are believers. I think of it as similar to specialists. It seems like each prophecy person has something they are best at and studies into more. We all need each other, then. But it sure would be nice if all could see it that way, and really respect each other.
And by the way, I think this whole Rev 12 sign thing WAS a time Jesus could have come back. It helped many people, me included, to study more and get excited. He is still coming back soon so I want to stay that way. He seems to be delaying like He hinted at. So it must be for an important reason and we will all be glad when we find out what it is
    (Salvations, no doubt!). Andrea

    1. Dear Andrea, just a sidenote to ponder: A true believer and brother in Christ may have some doubt about Rev12-sign and may not have the right understanding of it BUT he NEVER would call these things of God "NONSENSE" if the Holy Spirit (of God!!) really dwells inside that person. Nor would he attack and mock his brethren in Christ as " PROMOTERS OF NONSENSE" (and use similar expressions). Compare Matthew 5:22 and 1 John 4:20 In contrast he would be happy to hear from sth like Rev12-sign and learn more about it. Because it means to learn more about GOD even if it is not a salvation issue Hebrews 5:12-14 . Blessings! :)

  29. Thank you for this great example of how we should all apologize when we feel convicted. It is not for us to decide if the apology is warranted or not since you are following your conviction. But I believe that the people who failed to recognize the extreme importance and the wonder and awe of this tangible sign that God is with us, speaking to us, proving Himself and His word to us, and showing us that time is short before He comes for us were in the wrong for not acknowledging it and proclaiming it from the rooftops. I am sure we all could have used better words and showed more love on all sides but it was very frustrating for all who understand the importance of the sign to have some brothers and sisters not acknowledging this gift from God. It still frustrates me. Just because it was not rapture day does not take away the importance of the sign and while we all could strive to speak more kindly, with more love, I am still sad that many Christian leaders missed out on proclaiming and sharing the glorious sign that God sent us.

  30. Hello my friend. We talked before you ever started this website...and I told you what would happen. At the same time, the bad does not matter as long as we are obeying. First and foremost we are to obey Christ. When we are new at something, like a ministry, we start off in the toddler stage, just like everything else. Just like a new job. We make mistakes but we are to make mistakes so that we can learn from them. God knows the mistake is coming, He is right there holding our hand the entire time. And you know what...sometimes what we think is a mistake, is really not. It's exactly what God wanted us to do. That's why a relationship with Him first is most important. Like our post the other day...with Barb letting us know that it is more important to BE with Christ, than to even watch for Him! Everything else falls into place when we are with Christ in love. My sister Sue hears many times from the Lord that we are to just BE...and He will DO. I ask Him to do that each day when I put on the armor of God, at the Breastplate of Righteousness..."Lord just allow me to BE while you DO...through me what you want to accomplish." He knows your heart, and you cannot go wrong when you obey.

Finally, this phrase from you above says it all...

"The sign was so real, but"....but? What but? The Sign WAS so real! Period! God gave us a once in a lifetime..once in 2,000 years Sign straight from Him Word and we were humbled to see it! There is no but after that. :-) I know you know what I mean. So rather than feel discouraged from anything you've done or said, just give it to the Lord and LOOK UP! He will lead you to your next place as your journey continues. Remember when we talked? Look how far this website has come! I told you...you don't have to do anything, HE will make it all happen and HE will draw the people in that He wants to see it. Makes no difference if they scoff or mock. If the Lord draws them in, then who are we to speak ill of them? Remember the man that cursed King David? What did David say..."Leave him alone, let him curse..." (2 Sam 16) David felt that perhaps that is what God wanted to happen. We simply do not know the mind of God. But thankfully He knows OUR hearts and your righteousness in "protecting" His Truth WILL go marching on. Just in a different way now.

Be well my friend, and we will speak again soon!

    1. Amen to this, dear Hope inHim! Regardless of what we consider to be a "loving tone" in our conversations please let's not forget that a person who mocks the REAL things of GOD and those who believe in Him cannot really be of God Matthew 5:22 / 1 John 4:20 . Did Jesus apologize of taking the whip and casting the traders out? Matthew 21:12 Someone who denies and mocks the REAL things of God and those who believe they are REAL let him not expect to be treated with kids gloves. MARANATHA!

    2. Hope and Annabel,
Thank you for perfectly illustrating the two sides of fence I tried to walk... : ) Yes, God is fully in control and we can rest in that.... other times God may ask us to be bold and take off the kid gloves. Discerning which is which is hard, especially when the flesh is begging you to take the gloves off, but I have come to learn that for me, personally, it is always best to be still, be loving, be gracious, and be humble, even in the face of people and situations we may feel aren't the most deserving... Why is that? Because as you know so well, Christ have us grace when we didn't deserve it either. Love you both... thank you for sharing your thoughts! They mean a lot to me.

  31. Oh Gary, you always make me back up, think and pray . . . and oftentimes my fleshly, score keeping self just doesn't want to do so. As I read your humble and beautifully sincere apology I just wanted to jump up and scream - NO, it's not fair, it's not necessary, you were right. But, as usual, the Holy Spirit was teaching us all a lesson through you. It doesn't matter who is right or wrong about the topic at hand - we all know we were right about the topic, just not clear on the timing. What matters is how WE EACH INDIVIDUALLY respond - and then how we respond to the chastening hand of the Lord.

Here's what my Spirit says He is saying to us - I am not speaking to you about "them" and what they did or said, "they" are mine and I will deal with them when I see fit. I may have already done so and will continue to do so, but it is none of your beeswax. This is about you. I want your heart to be refined as pure gold, I want every word which proceeds from your mouth to be pure spirit. I have given and am giving you a great gift both to be part of and to tend my flock. As you pointed out, I urged you to begin this site and I require all who would grow in Me, to respond to My prompting and to anyone as Yeshua would do if He were there in the flesh. Many in the REV 12 Sign groups have responded and grown closer to me and to My Word during this period and I want that to continue. I have given them, through you, a safe space in which to grow and interact with like-minded believers. Your response shows me you treasure the gift and will not treat it lightly. Everything done in this forum matters, it matters a great deal more than any of you realize.

    Blessings - Sherry

  33. I see a link to my PDF book was posted. Cool. It's not an article. It's a book I made available for free. It's also on Amazon in Kindle and paperback. If anyone has questions, please let me know.

I'm saying this completely in love, but you guys don't need to look at signs to know when things are going to happen. People like them because they're visible and tangible - which is the complete opposite of what Hebrews 11:1 tells us faith is. The Bible is pretty clear about when all these things are going to happen, and you don't need a single sign to tell you or lead to you it.

Honestly, all you're going to do is drive yourselves crazy. I'm not saying that meanly at all. I'm saying that because these signs have caused so much stress and division within the body. The stink of it is, they aren't even necessary. The Bible tells us without all that. God bless and I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.

    1. Dear Heather, as I have read from your booklet that you might believe in a mid-trib rapture I'm not sure if we can talk about a better understanding of dispensations or watching for signs here. John 14:2 is a firm reality to me the same as the command to "look up" (= into the sky/heavens of course!) when our redemption draws near Luke 21:28 . As somebody expressed it clearly: There is no logic at all to be called to watch and then not to be given the hint WHAT to watch FOR. So yes indeed, watching for (heavenly) signs is still biblical and does not at all drive me crazy. And yes, Rev12-sign was REAL and it was exactly what it meant to be: a trigger for the next series of events and an "exit sign" for the church.

After all, regarding your mid-trib notion I do recommend watching the Tribulation Gospel teaching by Robert Breaker (click the link to the video) to learn more about Revelation 14:6-12 and the connection to Galatians 1:8 . RB unfortunately teaches "Matth24 Jews only" in the same video which is false but his arguments on Rev14 to prove pre-trib rapture from this passage alone are indisputable. Much blessings to you!

      Delete
    2. My fourth book was "Truth: In Defense of the Pre-Trib Rapture". I don't typically discuss the rapture in any of my other books, other than to say it is pre-trib, because the timetable given in the OT is related to the Second Coming and not the rapture. We have to go with the info given. As for Luke 21, that was an Olivet Discourse given to the Jews regarding signs relating to the events of 70 AD and also to the events leading up to and including the Second Coming. Since it was pre-cross seeing as Jesus wasn't crucified until Luke 23, that means it was also pre-New Covenant, pre-church, pre-dispensation of grace. Luke 21 has nothing to do with us at all. I have no doubt the Revelation 12 sign will be completely real. It just didn't happen on September 23, 2017. More likely, it'll occur on or around Tishri 10 or 14, 2021.

      Delete
    3. When you disassociate the rapture and Revelation 12:1-5, you'll have an easier time getting to the right conclusion. I'm not saying that to be condescending. It just is what it is. God bless.

    4. Dear Heather, Rev12:5 is WITHIN the story of events, don't you see this? So what are we talking about here all the time on a website that deals with the very scriptural connections to THIS REVELATION 12 CHAPTER ALONE?

Regarding your other "Jews only" statement to any of those gospel passages (be it Luke, Matthew or elsewhere), I recommend Alan Horvath Matth24 teaching (click on the link!) to not confuse dispensations and "addressees" of the gospel messages. If we cannot agree on that I wish you a good day and MARANATHA!

    5. 1/3 of my fifth book was all about Revelation 12. I went through the whole chapter. I'm well aware of what story it is within the framework of, and it has nothing to do with the church or the rapture. As I said, when you learn to dissociate the two, you'll see things a lot more clearly. There's pretty much not anything related to the end times I haven't written about in one of my books. There's a reason for that. Lots of people want answers, but they're focusing too much on one thing to ensure what they're thinking is actually correct. Nothing makes me more special than anyone else. You can find anything with a little extra effort. :)

      Delete
    6. Oh, OK then let's try to convince Brad to cut off this webpage and delete all its content so that we won't all drive crazy from now on. So that we've now learned from you that the "male child snatched up..." (= "harpazo" being the same word as in 1Thess4:17) in Rev12:5 doesn't mean ANYTHING to us. ##LOL!## Well and your kind of 'hyperdispensionalism' is furthermore nothing I can support either. You MUST be something special then. MARANATHA!

      Delete
    7. It might be a good idea to tone down the sarcasm, especially when what you're saying is not actually correct. The word "harpazo" being used in both verses is actually not true. A variation of the root is used in both, and the variation is different in I Thess 4:17 than it is in Rev 12:5. As I said, a little digging around makes this quite simple to find. You can have something mean whatever you want to you. That's your prerogative. If you're interested in the truth, you might want to be a bit more humble. But that's only a suggestion.

From my book, addressing this very topic ---

We will jump right into the fire and begin by addressing the idea of the rapture in Revelation 12:5 since this is currently the biggest point of contention. A link has been made between the Revelation 12:5 catching up of the child and the pre-tribulation rapture of the church. This is due to the inclusion of the word harpazo within the text. There is, however, a bit more to it than that. In the text of verse 5, “caught up” is the Greek word "hērpasthē", and it is the only occurrence of that word in the New Testament. In contrast, the Greek word used to describe the catching up of the church in I Thessalonians 4:17 is “arpagēsometha”. Both words come from the same root word “harpazo”, but their contexts are not identical.

In Revelation 12:5, “caught up” is written in the “aorist passive indicative - third person
singular”. Since that may sound Greek to most of us, pun intended, here is a breakdown of what it all means.

•Third person singular - the person being spoken of or about
•Passive voice - the subject is the recipient of the action
•Indicative mood - a statement of fact or an actual occurrence from the writer's or speaker's perspective
•Aorist tense - "summary occurrence", without regard for the amount of time taken to accomplish the action. This tense is also often referred to as the 'punctiliar' tense. 'Punctiliar' in this sense means 'viewed as a single, collective whole,' a "one-point-in-time" action... In the indicative mood the aorist tense denotes action that occurred in the past time, often translated like the English simple past tense.

The child being “caught up” is singular, not corporate. The action is being performed on the
child without any help from the child. That the child is “caught up” is a factual statement. And
perhaps the most important part – the clause in Revelation 12:5b is part of the whole sign as given in Revelation 12:1-5 and is not to be separated. The aorist tense used in verse 5 agrees with the “past tense” language also used in verse 1. “Appeared ” is written in the same tense:
aorist passive indicative - third person singular. In contrast, the Greek verb used in conjunction with the catching up of the church in I Thessalonians 4:17 is “second future passive indicative - first person”. Note that it is not singular.

    9. Heather R, I'm gonna jump in here to make a few points. While I don't know anything about you, I, myself, am probably the least educated and most computer illiterate person to land on this site.
But here's what I do know...most of the Brothers And Sisters here are highly educated, intelligent and extremely well studied in Scripture. And the massive amount of research by many scholarly Brethren from every end of the spectrum regarding the Revelation 12 sign has borne it out quite solidly for anyone willing to look up and see it. But that's up to the individual to choose.
We all know how to use a concordance and how to cross reference and all that to come to our own prayerful conclusions. So I just want to say humility runs both ways and when you just jump in to start telling an established community based on a shared faith in what God has shown them that they are basically all ignorant of the "truth" that you hold forth, expect some backlash.
Most here would be willing to look at your books/ articles/ as Annabel did, then say thanks or no thanks. That's all we ask of you. If it's not for you or your understanding, that's fine. It is not a salvation issue, but rather a fellowship issue. Bless you in your walk and hopefully we'll all be home soon!

    10. Interesting... My Strong's Concordance says "harpazo" .... not sure where you're getting your information from.

Chuck Missler & Hal Lindsey are two of the most brilliant Bible scholars there have ever been, both very well educated in the original Greek & Hebrew text. Surely if it was a word other than "harpazo" they would have seen it. They don't -- they see Harpazo.

So.... no offense, but I'm going to stick with teachers that have a proven track record. Way too many wacky teachings swirling around in these final hours.

Let's all just take a breath, agree to disagree, and part on friendly terms.

    11. mksmith dear brother, even if there are "variations" of the word to be found in the original text it only says that the ROOT word is the same (and still with the same meaning!) and the "variation" expresses the correct grammar (tense, singular/plural etc). So there is no "new revelation" at all behind but only showing correct use of grammar. The "male child" in Rev12:5 being the church there are more (!) than 2-3 witnesses and solid Philadelphia school of bible teachers that confirm this fact (a whole article provided by Brad on this site and on unsealed.org)! Blessings, brother :) John 16:13 / 1 John 2:27 HALLELUJAH

I'm not saying anyone hasn't studied a lot. But since we're still here, the obvious conclusion is you were wrong. So instead of continuing to defend it, keep searching for the truth. I'm not trying to be rude, just honest. And yeah, it's still okay for a lot of people who have studied for a long time, notable Bible scholars included, to be wrong.

Saying so & so said so and using that for your basis for belief in one doctrine or another isn't the wisest way to go about studying. They're human, and they wouldn't tell you to trust them. They'd tell you to search it out for yourself.

    16. Hey Heather, I wish you blessings as a Sister in Christ. And I do appreciate your dedication to the study of the Scriptures, but I don’t really understand your easy dismissal of what is probably millions of hours of combined Berean study of so many others in the Body
      of Christ.
Some of these folks are quite proficient in the Hebrew and Greek linguistics and more as well. While it is perfectly okay for you to disagree on doctrine or the evidence that we all find value in, it’s really probably not okay for you to demean us as “spinning our wheels” or “driving ourselves crazy” and referring to our
topics of discussion as a “stink”.
While you may feel that you have all of the answers, we readily admit we do not and will not until He does come. But, Sister, we are enjoying the journey as we look for Him together and learn about Him and His amazing signature on everything we are finding together. I seriously doubt He will hold that against any of us. And hopefully, it has occurred to you that perhaps He has purposed some of us for this searching out of His Glory and His handiwork because He might want these things revealed in this particular season for a particular reason.
      (Prov. 24:2)
      (Ps. 19:1)
Different members of the Body are called to serve different purposes as I am sure you would readily agree. And no one has the market cornered on a complete understanding as of yet, nor do most even try to make that claim and those who do are probably the ones to be wary of. I pray you the best in your calling and hope you will pray the same for those of us for whom the Rev. 12 sign and all that it entails was
a clarion call to lift up our heads and be on our toes. Hopefully, we are all praying more, studying more and preparing our own hearts as well as the hearts of all others in our lives for that Blessed Hope that is so obviously at the door.
May His peace that goes beyond understanding be with you as well.

  34. My two cents regarding a few things which have been brought up in the meantime… The born again Christian believers who debunked the Rev 12 Sign are remaining born again Christian believers, my brothers and sisters in Christ. True, some of them even mocked it and/or us, it’s sad but it’s not a salvation issue. At least, none of the debunkers I know about denied the Lord’s finished work on the cross. Perhaps some of them will have a few embarrassing moments at the Bema Seat of Christ, I don’t know, but the thing I’m sure of is that no person in Christ is under condemnation and we, born again believers in Christ mess up a lot and often. I know that I need the Lord’s unlimited mercy every day of my life and I’m sure that it’s the case with all my brethren in Christ. Debunking and mocking the Rev 12 Sign is one of the list of sins a born again person might commit, it’s not the same as not accepting the Lord’s full payment for our sins or the blasphemy of His Holy Spirit (the latter according to some people isn’t even possible in this dispensation). For example, Amir of *Behold Israel* missed the significance of the Rev 12 Sign, I felt sad about that but I’m sure that he’s a brother in Christ (at least I’ve never heard him denying the sufficiency of the Lord’s payment for our sins).

“I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” (Ephesians 4:13) As the importance of “bearing with one another in love”.

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” We need His abundant love and mercy constantly and the Lord’s wish for us is “to love mercy”, in showing mercy to others.

  35. Brad, I have a confession to make...you were my role model of graciousness, humility, and love during the run-up to the REV12 sign. I was forever wishing I could maintain the same loving tone you seemed to be able to maintain, but I failed infinitely worse than you ever dreamed of failing. And as if that weren't enough, from what I gather it even bothers me far less. And no, Asperger's Syndrome is not an excuse--the plain truth is that I am light years behind you in this regard. As for me, part of my problem is that I am all but genetically incapable of genuinely caring about what other people think of me--my brain isn't wired that way. Although this can be incredibly useful at times, it also means I have to work incredibly hard to find that gracious sweet spot.

I light bulb went off for me when Jan Markel shared this post (something I never would have dreamed of in a million years). Repentance opens doors. For whatever reason, when we humble ourselves and say I'm sorry, even when many people don't think it's necessary, God can use that, and does use that in mighty ways. That was not my intention when I did this, but looking back at my life I see that pattern. Much love to you Greg, Happy Thanks giving.

  36. Brad, I appreciate your humble and sincere spirit. It is important to recognize what spirit we are of, and lots of times I fail miserably in this area. I don't comment much because I am tempted to set straight those I disagree with and many times am offended by. But the Lord did call us to love one another. So, I bite my tongue and pray for wisdom, not only for me, but also for the offensive party. Prayer before speaking tends to soften our hearts and words.

My hope is that the "debunkers" who are disrespectful in their dismissive attitudes and remarks will recognize the spirit of Love in your words and the lack in theirs, and be brought to repentance. After all, we are not merely offending people we disagree with, we are harming the very Body of Christ. God have mercy on us all.

Sherry shared something above that really made me think.... basically God will deal with those who offend us when and how HE see's fit. We shouldn't lash out at those even if we think it is righteous anger.... God will deal with it. In fact, we are blessed when we are accused falsely by others.... Jesus promises that. So let him bless us when we take it (Matt 5:11), and let Him deal with those who are dealing unjustly with us. He can defend us way better than we can ever defend ourselves when we get defensive. : )

"He was filled with compassion for him" in his disheveled, stinking, filthy and awful state the Father had compassion for him and "He ran to him, threw his arms around him and kissed him." Because while we were still filthy, wretched and clothed in rags He threw His arms around us and Kisses us and calls for the robes, the ring and the sandals. 3. We got blessed to receive understanding of BOTH sons: When my hsb and I were saved at the late hour around our 40th year on earth by the divine involvement of our own little son who was already saved and sealed at the age of 7 but afterwards needed to be "urged into the house" nevertheless when his sinful nature rebelled against God during his adolescence. So in fact he was never "lost and found" as his parents were for such a long time but he had to learn a kind of "homecoming" to God as well.

    4. Also, there’s other son, the older brother. It seems to me that he’s fallen into a legalistic, works-based mindset. He seems to see his father as a strict taskmaster whose favors could be only earned by hard work. The older brother is quick to tell his dad how hard he “slaved for him”! To me that’s very telling. Plus, every time I read the older brother’s words I detect a big amount of bitterness in those words, plus anger and jealously. “That son of yours” he says (not “my brother”), I imagine him spitting out those words bitterly with despise. Because of the distorted way he sees his own father and their relationship, he is shocked by how his father received his wayward younger brother, perhaps he was offended and he seems to think that their father was ridiculously soft on the younger brother. And that’s absolutely unfair because look at him, he was totally obedient, working his hands to the bones, “slaving” to please the father and the father haven’t given him anything all this time while he lavishes “that wretched brat” richly with his favor! And notice how lovingly, gently and mercifully the father is handling both of them? Did the father get mad because of the older brothers’ temper tantrum? Did he shout at him, “Enough is enough!”, or “Don’t speak to me like that!” or did he slap him for his “impudence”? Some earthly fathers would have probably reacted like that but Jesus’ parable is about our wonderful and loving Father in Heaven! He is speaking to his older son in a calm and gentle manner, even saying to him, “Son, everything I have is yours too!” And he gently nudges him to let his bitterness go and join the celebrating party for his brother who’s just returned. One more thing… both brothers are sons, they both belong to the father. They didn’t cease to be being sons despite their deeds and attitudes. I think so that while the parable of the prodigal son is a good witness tool to the lost, it is also a very good representation of the two opposite and wrong mindset (and attitudes) a born again believer in Christ could develop.

    5. Dear Nora you're right, that's exactly what afflicted our own child most when we tried to raise him in Gods ways after being saved: ## LEGALISM ##. He didn't learn "obedience out of LOVE" (instead of FEAR) for a long time. But WE did NEVER teach him that!! It was his own sinful nature that wanted to please God with works and thinking that God was some angry policeman (represented by his parents to teach him). It took several painful YEARS (not only for him but painful for US) to make him understand. A child being raised as Christian (= called into the vineyard earlier in life than his own parents) can only understand his own sinful nature when getting older which is only logical because a short lifespan doesn't give much occasion to sin. That's why the elders leave the scene first in John 8:9 when remembered of their own sinfulness. He must be confronted with his own sin first before being able to understand Christs sacrifice for man out of LOVE. Our own child took a while to learn that his parents are not his enemies (unbelievers call this "puberty" but it's just rebellion against God and His GOOD law). The older son in the parable laments about a stingy father in Luke 15:29 but instead he doesn't want to have his company at all. He wants to eat and drink with "his friends" and not with the father. He wants reward for his work and doesn't understand the concept of love. You will find the same murmuring against a loving God (and father) by the "elder sons" in the parable of the vineyard Matthew 20:12 Blessings to you! :)

    6. Isn't the Word glorious? You read things you've read before and suddenly or fresh and new the Spirit lights it up in your mind and heart and you see another element, another message and another proof of the gracious goodness of the Father. It never ceases to amaze me how His Word is, indeed, new again each morning. Blessings - Sherry

    7. Sherry, Yes! Never ceases to delight and amaze. "For the Word of God is ALIVE and ACTIVE" (Heb 4:12, NIV, emphasis mine) and these are NOT metaphors! Maranatha!

Colossians 3:2-4

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

1 Peter 2:9

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

Philippians 3:20-21

But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
